Today marks the start of the new Southern Cross Country League season – an annual competition between 23 local running clubs, spanning 6-7 events over the winter months. Today’s race location was Pamber Forest, with Queen Elizabeth Country Park next up in just a few weeks time.
Crusaders love XC so much that, earlier this year, we made a video to promote our experience! You may have already seen the video if you’ve visited the homepage over the past few days – but if not, here it is in all its muddy glory:
If you’ve only ever been a road runner… why not try out a XC event this winter? Not only is it a great day out but there’s normally a healthy amount of cake available afterwards, perfect refuelling after some muddy miles!
If you’d like to find out more about XC, be sure to check out our Twitter and Facebook pages for regular updates on upcoming events.
